a) Our world uses AI in everything
b) AI uses our world, completely.
In order for the world to get to a) and avoid b) we need to democratize AI completely. This means developing our own tech, so that we can control our own technology. Even if our AIs are less powerful, we will be able to work in freedom and assure economic independance.
